Comme vous le savez sans doute, j'ai travaillé tout l'été sur une série co-produite par l'ONF et TFO s'intitulant Roxy et Max s'animent! qui met en vedette deux universitaires qui prennent des cours d'animation ensemble. Y a un chouette concours en parallèle, où les jeunes francophones hors-Québec de 14 à 21 ans peuvent soumettre un court-métrage d'animation et gagner toute la post-production (son et musique inclus!) à l'ONF... putain'g! Mais bref, tout ça pour dire que le premier épisode est maintenant en ligne! Alors voilà voilà. Ça devrait marcher si vous avez Safari. Sinon, vous pouvez toujours aller directement sur le site.

As you probably already know, I worked all summer long on a series co-produced by the NFB and TFO titled Roxy et Max s'animent! (literally, "Roxy and Max Animate!" but it could also mean "Roxy and Max Get Animated!" — clever play on words), which stars two university students in an animation class together. There's also a very neat contest where young French-speaking people living elsewhere than Quebec can submit animated shorts of their own and win post-production (sound and music included!) at the NFB... gawd! Anyway, so the first episode is now online! So there you go. I'm sorry but it's in French only, and the English subtitles aren't available yet — but you can look at the pretty pictures, yes? It should work if you're using Safari. If not, you can always head directly to the site.

J'ai fait le générique d'ouverture et les deux folioscopes/flipbooks qu'on voit plus vers la fin. Y a aussi toutes sortes de choses à regarder dans la classe, notamment mon personnage Marion sur la table lumineuse au début et le storyboard de L'heure du bain sur le mur. Les superbes animations de l'horloge hibou sont malheureusement pas de moi, mais d'une super équipe composée de Marianne Vincent, Yves Paradis, Roxanne Baril-Monfette, André Lacroix, Karine Jetté et Jolanie Lincourt (je sais qu'ils se sont séparé la job au fil des épisodes, mais je pourrais pas dire qui a fait quoi, donc je les nomme tous, hihi). Anyway. Vous pouvez voir l'épisode dans son set-up fancy ici (le site est assez chouette)!

I did the opening credits and the two flipbooks you can see further in the episode. There's also a bunch of stuff in the classroom to look at, namely my character Marion on the light table at the beginning, and the storyboard for Bathtime. The wonderful owl clock animations unfortunately aren't by me, they were done by a super team comprised of Marianne Vincent, Yves Paradis, Roxanne Baril-Monfette, André Lacroix, Karine Jetté and Jolanie Lincourt (I know they divided the work over the episodes, but I wouldn't be able to say who did what so I'm just naming the bunch of them now, haha).
